It was first published in Harry Craddock’s The Savoy Cocktail Book — a compilation of cocktail recipes from the 1920’s and 30’s. Craddock is one of the most famous Prohibition bartenders; cocktails such as the the Corpse Reviver No. 2 and the White Lady were crafted by this master-mind. Like a Perfect Martini, The Journalist comprises of equal parts sweet & dry vermouth.
